The evaluation of cosmetic efficacy claims refers to the process of scientifically testing and rationally evaluating the efficacy claims of cosmetics under normal use conditions through literature surveys, research data analysis, or cosmetic efficacy claims evaluation tests, and making corresponding evaluation conclusions.

Supervision

Circumstances that fail to announce the basis of cosmetic efficacy claims in accordance with the provisions of these Regulations shall be ordered to be corrected by the department responsible for drug supervision and administration, given a warning, and imposed a fine of 10,000 yuan up to 30,000 yuan; if the circumstances are serious, they shall be ordered to suspend production and business and impose a penalty of 30,000 yuan. For a fine of up to 50,000 yuan, a fine of 10,000 yuan to 30,000 yuan shall be imposed on the legal representative or main person in charge of the illegal unit, the directly responsible person in charge and other directly responsible persons.
